Memorial Day 2010!!

As amazing as this is I have never kited so late in the season!! May 31, 2010 Mmemorial day!!!! Skyline Always delivers even late in the season!! You got to love the EL NINO!!!! Late snow falls extending seasons here in Utah. Its funny the snow is just sticking above 9000ft!!.

Winter is the Bestest

How come snowkiting is just the shit! I am now on the coast water kiting, Skyline and anywhere above 10,000ft is still getting hammered by snow!! With May almost done I might go back and do a JUNE snow kite session!! I love El Nino! Always a slow start for winter but it always delivers late!!!

Skyline so fun But so scary!

Had a great day at Skyline last Friday. But did it scare the shit out of me! Went for a jump transition that turned into a mega air. Into gliding over the trees on the upper ridge. Telling myself this isn't going to be good. Did a massive kite loop and then flew for some time longer. Almost landed back on the wind fences that are by the road.

Landed with lots of speed. Grabbed my brakes, and then stood there for about 5 minutes....

I caught my breath and slowed my heart...

Holy shit! I guess you have to scare yourself at least once a day!!


Oh yeah thank you Travis Frank for taking the senic route on your way back home!! Sometimes things are just meant to happen like that!
