Had a great day at Skyline last Friday. But did it scare the shit out of me! Went for a jump transition that turned into a mega air. Into gliding over the trees on the upper ridge. Telling myself this isn't going to be good. Did a massive kite loop and then flew for some time longer. Almost landed back on the wind fences that are by the road.
Landed with lots of speed. Grabbed my brakes, and then stood there for about 5 minutes....
I caught my breath and slowed my heart...
Holy shit! I guess you have to scare yourself at least once a day!!
Oh yeah thank you Travis Frank for taking the senic route on your way back home!! Sometimes things are just meant to happen like that!
